How far have we come....
From the age of innocence
It seems like another lifetime
Times that i can't seem to remember...
Was it really me as I reflect on old memories
Did it all really happen to me?
How wise have we become now...
In this age of being so grown up
Far behind have I left those faces
Who once filled my life with happiness
Brand new shiny people have arrived
Oh if i only knew then....
That they will one day be a part of my future
I can only feel grateful...
Knowing that it was all meant to be this way
Wish I can capture all i have in this moment
Cause that is all that matters for now.
