How can u possibly put together something that is broken
And how can u mend all that which is torn
Now i sit here and wait for miracles to happen
And wonder about my failure to reciprocate
Or think if only u had tried harder
I live with the possibility of being the one more loved
But the not knowing if I've outwitted you or betrayed you looms large
That would be a lifetime seeking answers to the questions I dare not ask
